🦅 Leadership in Motion: BLS Alumni Association Elects New Board

The Ben L. Smith Alumni Association is stepping into a new chapter with the announcement of its newly elected Board of Directors — and it’s all part of a continued commitment to strengthen alumni connections and support the legacy of Smith.

After a productive meeting held on March 26th, financial members came together to vote on amendments to the Association’s bylaws. These changes helped shape the structure of the Board and set the stage for fresh leadership to step in.

Before we dive into the future, it’s important to acknowledge the past. The Association extends sincere thanks to Monique Austin, Dwan Austin, Yolonda Law, Anthony Izzard, and Latarshia Lipscomb for their dedication and service on the Board. Their efforts helped push the Association forward and provided a strong foundation for the work ahead.
